BRICK, N.J./EWORLDWIRE/July 18, 2006 — Local Brick, NJ Filmmaker Chris Vaughn and his film crew are preparing for a trip to Giant Stadium to see if Vaughn can reach one of his Hometown Heroes, Jon Bon Jovi, for his summer documentary entitled “Jerseyboy Hero.”
Vaughn is meeting with his film crew all night to gear up for the “big push” this week. His New Jersey based documentary “Jerseyboy Hero” is about getting his music to either one of his two favorite hometown heroes, Bruce Springsteen or Jon Bon Jovi, by Labor Day. This coming week will be a big one for Vaughn and his crew with the Giant Stadium gigs and a Belmar Beach filming on July 29.
With a two man film crew and some volunteers, Chris Vaughn has until the end of the summer to get one of the biggest names in the music business to look his way, favorably.
“These next couple of weeks are crucial to our success; we need to at least reach one of Jon or Bruce’s reps soon in order to schedule an on-camera interview by Labor Day,” said Christoph Messer, the executive producer of the film.
