I had just returned to the shore from shooting the exteriors for “The Fifth Chair” in Englewood, New Jersey with my amazing DP (Alex Gray) when I realized my night was only beginning since tonight was the Garden State Film Festival. The night started out pretty subdued, I arrived in Asbury Park around 8PM to meet Ernie O’Donnell and his local crew & fellow filmmakers, “the Leonardo Boyz.” It was more of an industry night for all of us since we were all in various stages of production on different projects and were only attending in support of other artists in the community.

I had the pleasure of meeting and enjoying the events with so many great people, like the “Irish Girls;” Jessica Sherr from the TV series “Claws”; and “Billions star” Matt Servitto, to name a couple.

The night was filled with great old friends and some new ones in an artistic environment that only creative people can truly enjoy and understand. My night didn’t end until this morning around 3:45 AM and the festival really gets cookin’ tonight. Come down if you are in the area and watch some movies!
